Sorrento House Hotel was built about 150 years ago as a private dwelling house and only began trading as a "rooming house" in the early 20th century.

Colin, Gail and Katie welcome you to our family run Guest House where you will find comfortable accommodation and the very best of home cooking. Furthermore, we are right in the heart of the town, just along from the Tower...so come and enjoy the perfect Blackpool Holiday! Residents at the Sorrento House Hotel can enjoy excellent home cooking. A full English Breakfast is served with a choice of branded named cereals, fruit juice, and a full cooked breakfast. Tea or Coffee is also served , with toast as required. Alternatively a lighter selection is available if notified the night before. Vegetarians can also be catered for. Evening meals are optional with a choice of menus to suit all tastes. A separate children's menu is available.

Breakfast is served : 9am - 9.30am Dinner can be discussed on arrival. A selection of alcoholic beverages may be purchased from the bar to accompany your meal.

After a full day out on the Promenade, why not join us in the bar and sit back with friends old and new whilst you relax in our newly refurbished bar / lounge room. Enjoy your favourite tipple, play pool, darts or try your luck on our quiz games. For those who just want to relax then sit back and enjoy our large screen plasma TV and sing along to your favourite tunes on the Karaoke. If you don't fancy a drink, The Sorrento has a large, comfortable lounge where guests can relax, take time out with a book or paper or watch TV.

The Sorrento Guest house is within easy walking distance of many of Blackpool's famous attractions including:-
Blackpool's main shopping area, Pubs and Clubs, Blackpool Tower, The Winter Gardens, Central Pier, Sea World, Blackpool Zoo, Picturesque Stanley Park and of course the Beach and Promenade!

The Sorrento has 11 bedrooms of various sizes all double glazed, most with en-suite facilities and TV's, 9 of these bedrooms are en-suite, 2 of them have private facilities, twin rooms, double rooms & family rooms are all available. All rooms are centrally heated with shaver and power points, soap, towels, hair dryers and all tea, coffee making facilities.

We offer a superior double room where you can pamper yourself with that extra luxury for a special occasion. Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversarys etc. Fully stocked mini bar, large LCD TV with freeview, satin bedding, free morning newspaper, with the added bonus of late checkout, please contact us for availability.

We have been awarded the 'Quality' accreditation award and for your security and comfort a new L2 fire detection system has just been installed.
